Free Business Assistance
For more in-depth assistance with your business, contact your local Small Business Development Center. Professionals who know about all aspects of business provide SBDC services free of charge. The following link takes you to the Department of Commerce's web site, which lists all of the local offices.
Loans for very small businesses
The MicroBusiness Development Centers provide financing and technical assistance to help businesses expand or get started. The MBDCs make loans of up to $35,000 for working capital, equipment, or other fixed assets for qualified microbusinesses. A qualified microbusiness must be a Montana based business that has ten or fewer employees and less than $500,000 in annual revenues. Tribal Business Information Centers
Each reservation in Montana has a resource center for business. Most centers have computers and Internet that are available for public use as well as a person who can provide assistance with your business idea. The following link takes you to the Montana Regional SBA site and lists the current contacts and locations of the centers.

Montana Libraries
